What you need
Have your registered domain name and either your website files or the CMS you plan to use. If your site uses a database, keep a current backup and its connection settings.
Use the service details provided with your order or ask support for the actual domain and service settings. This guide does not invent DNS values or a control panel address.
Launch checklist
Choose what to publish
Prepare your existing website files or select a CMS. Check the project requirements against the hosting plan you selected.
Prepare your domain
Make sure the domain is registered and that you can manage its DNS. Get the correct DNS settings from your service details or support.
Upload the website data
Upload files using a method available for your service. If the project uses a database, move it and verify the connection settings.
Check the website and HTTPS
Open the homepage and several inner pages. Check images, forms and HTTPS after connecting the domain.
Verify the result
- The domain opens the intended website.
- Inner pages, images and forms work.
- Database driven content is current, if applicable.
- Pages load over HTTPS without a browser warning.
